I previously owned a Suzuki DRZ400E. Being 6'2" I found it hard to stand on this bike and have full control. I was in need of some bar risers so I tried to find some locally but had no luck. I searched the internet for some but the only ones I could find were $90US plus. I contacted a local CNC shop and asked if they would make me a pair as I got the measurements from a message board member by the name of "Dendrz" who made a simple pair for himself. It was only feasable if I made at least 10 pairs, so I went online and asked if 9 others would be interested in joining me in this modification. Well it took no time at all for 9 members to step up so I went ahead with the process. By the time I received those 10 and shipped them out, 10 more members contacted me about getting a pair as they too could not stand on this bike so I decided to help them out and place another order. Before that 2nd order was complete I had 10 more members contact me so I managed to bump the order up to 20 before it was complete. Long story short, the order was for 30 before I got them and once the word spread, DRZ/KLX owners were contacting me from all over the world for a set. I then had CRF/WR owners contacting me with the same problem, so we made a riser to fit their bike and now there are many, many happy riders around the world who can stand while riding without the back pain! As of August 2005 we now offer a universal 7/8" riser in 2 different sizes, 1" & 1.5". This will fit any bike on the market that will accommodate this rise (cable/wire length). I feel this riser will become more popular with the MX bikes versus the trail bikes since most tall riders on MX bikes only need a riser, not the forward position.

I am doing this as a hobby to help out fellow riders. There are no plans to expand this line any further or take it to the next level as I have a full time job which I enjoy very much. I have learned a lot about online marketing and have "met" some great people from all over the world.


I currently ride a 2009 Honda CRF450X with 1" universal risers.

          


On the street & track I ride a 2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000R.
