F.A.Q.'s : Frequently Asked Questions

Will these risers fit my bike?

You need to know the distance between the center of the front and rear bolt. Simply measure from the front of the front bolt to the front of the rear bolt. If you get 32 or 33mm purchase the 32mm risers (the middle hole is enlarged to accomodate 33mm). And if you get 35mm then purchase the 35mm risers.

What does 7/8" and 1-1/8" mean?

These are the outside diameter sizes of your handlebar at the point where the bar clamps mount. 7/8" is the size of every stock handle bar (except KTM). These bars usually have a crossbar. 1-1/8" are also known as a "fatbar" and don't usually have a crossbar (except for a couple brands)

Do I need to buy a longer clutch cable/brake line?

NO, in most cases your stock set up is fine. These risers have been installed with the tallest bend bar on the market and the stock equipment will still work. Some bikes may require that you re-route your throttle cables or adjust the slack. The CRF450 has a fairly tall set up already, so if you have really tall bars (ie: Jimmy Button Bend) with these risers the brake line might be tight.

How much are your risers in US funds?

Our risers are made and sold in Canada. Although a lot of customers are from the USA it was to tough to keep changing the price to reflect the constant changing of the exchange rate. When you select the 'Buy Now" button PayPal will do the exchange for your automatically.

Am I going to incur any duty or import fees when my risers arrive?

NO, your package is shipped via Canada Post using their Air Mail service. This means the package does not go through customs.
